Vin de Glace Rouge 2011 follows the art of making ice wine to the letter. Lucy Kuhlmann and Maréchal Foch grapes are harvested between -8 et -10°C so the water in the grapes freezes, resulting in a higher concentration of sugar. Traditional fermentation produces an intense ruby colour, an aroma of exotic fruit, red fruit and notes of cocoa, coffee and spices. It feels fresh on the palate with a smooth balance of richness and acidity. This pure delight can be served with foie gras, blue cheese, or on its own as a dessert. Happy tasting!
